1. Acceptance of these terms

By using childfairy.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What this site is

childfairy.com is a marketing website for the Child Fairy series of children's books, published by Child Fairy Publications. It shows information about our books and lets you contact us. We're also developing a companion app, which will have its own in-app terms once it's released.

3. Intellectual property

The Child Fairy character, her forest friends (Bison, Coyote, and the rest of the cast), all book text, artwork, covers, and the childfairy.com site design are owned by Child Fairy Publications, except where noted otherwise. You may view and share pages of this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our characters, artwork, or text without our prior written permission.

4. Purchases

Our books are sold as physical paperbacks through Amazon (via Kindle Direct Publishing). Any purchase you make happens entirely on Amazon and is governed by Amazon's own Conditions of Use and return/refund policies — we don't process payments, shipping, or returns ourselves, and can't override Amazon's policies on your behalf.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't use this site to: attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; submit false, abusive, or harmful content through our contact form; scrape or bulk-copy our content; or use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it for others.

6. Third-party links

Links to Amazon or other third-party sites are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or policies.

7. No warranty

This website is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep information accurate and the site available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly up to date.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Child Fairy Publications is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business grows — particularly once our app launches and needs its own in-app terms. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (This is a starting default, not a fixed legal determination — worth confirming with a lawyer alongside the rest of this document, especially once the app adds US/EU users directly.)
